Here's my homage to the classic Fantastic Four #25 cover.
The original was done by Jack Kirby.
Everything here was done with india ink applied with brush and dip pen. Colors in photoshop.
The Title and assorted banners were lifted off the original.

I love your take on the characters here, especially Mr Grimm; the big lug looks great in your style, and you've got his bullet-headed personality down to a tee. Ace!

You did one of my favorite battles in the Marvel universe! Thing vs. Hulk! I would really love to see a full comic of them beating the hell out of one another once again. the last good one was done by Ron Frenz in fantastic four and was Grey Hulk vs. Spikey Thing. The Red Hulk vs. Thing was a cope out. You should do one!

Doug, what can I say, except: I'm Diggin' It!

This is a super-solid piece, imo. A few minor nitpicks, but nothing major.

The only thing I would think of in the future, and this is just opinion, but throw the Thing's legs into a wider stance. I can totally see where you're going with the "wind-up to clobberin' time!" pose, but I think your style will lend itself to some serious Kirby exaggeration!

Also, thanks for the kind words on my recent stuff. Drop some comments if you see improvements that need to be made!
